
Mr. Nay Quyen, Secretary of the Party Committee of Uar Commune, said that the commune is continuing to evacuate all 2,221 people of 453 households in Nu Hamlet due to the threat of floodwaters. The evacuation began last night, prioritizing households in low-lying areas. By this morning, the authorities had brought about 500 people to safety.
People were temporarily housed in schools, the commune mobilized the police kitchen and boarding schools to cook for the people. Currently, the water in Nu village is deep and continues to rise, about 60 houses are flooded.

In Ia Pa commune, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee Vo Tan Cong said that this morning, the water rose rapidly, causing flooding of about 100 houses at various levels, some places were 1 meter deep. The locality evacuated 50 households last night and 50 households this morning, a total of about 400 people. The inspection work is still continuing to immediately evacuate areas at risk of flooding.

In Ia Hiao commune, the entire commune was flooded. On the morning of November 19, the Standing Committee of the Ia Hiao Commune Party Committee went directly to the flooded areas to direct the work of moving assets and diverting traffic.
Mr. Pham Van Phuong, Secretary of the Ia Hiao Commune Party Committee, said that about 1,000 houses were flooded at different levels. The commune has allowed all kindergarten, primary and secondary school students to stay home today to ensure safety. The water level continues to rise, and the locality is implementing response scenarios according to levels to be ready to evacuate people.
