The delegation inspected the following relics: Tien Lu Communal House, Tien Lu Commune (Lap Thach); Mai Son Pagoda, Thanh Tru Commune (Vinh Yen); Dau Temple, Dinh Trung Ward (Vinh Yen). These are relics rich in historical and cultural values, of which Tien Lu Communal House has been ranked by the State as a national historical and cultural relic; Dau Temple and Mai Son Pagoda have been ranked as provincial relics. After a long period of existence, many items of the relics have now seriously degraded, not ensuring safety and affecting the architectural beauty of the relics.
At the inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu emphasized: The restoration and embellishment of relics is a necessary task to preserve and promote the value of relics, meet the cultural and religious needs of the people, and contribute to promoting the development of local culture and tourism .
The comrade assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with the Department of Construction and the Department of Finance to prepare necessary documents and procedures to propose investment policies for the project of restoring and embellishing the relics in order to promptly overcome the deterioration of the relics. From now until the relics are restored and embellished, the local authorities will coordinate with the Relics Management Board to implement anti-termite measures to minimize the deterioration of the relics. The restoration and embellishment of the relics must be carried out based on the principle of maintaining the original scale and architectural style, maximally preserving good components and replacing severely damaged components that are no longer reusable.
