In Dien Ban town, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan presented a 100th birthday greeting card from the President and presented gifts to two elderly people in Dien Phuoc commune: Ms. Than Thi Truyen (Nhi Dinh 2 village) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu (Ha Nong Tay village).
In Duy Xuyen district, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan presented longevity greeting cards from the President and gifts to two elderly people who turned 100 years old: Nguyen Thi Soan (Duy Phuoc commune) and Le Dinh Ton (Duy Trung commune).
Besides, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee also presented gifts and congratulated three elderly people on their 90th birthdays, including: Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Le (Duy Phuoc commune), Le Thi Nho (Duy Phuoc commune) and Nguyen Thi Cuc (Duy Trung commune).
At the places he visited and presented gifts, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan, on behalf of the provincial leaders, sent wishes for good health and longevity for the elderly, wishing them to live happily and usefully; to be exemplary models for their children and grandchildren in the family as well as their clan and village.
The provincial People's Committee also requested local Party committees, authorities, unions, and socio -political organizations to continue to fully implement policies for the elderly; promote their role in caring for the elderly in the community.
