After more than 2 years of implementation, the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Nam Tra My has been carried out synchronously, effectively and promptly, with the participation of the entire political system and the cooperation of the whole society.
To date, the district has more than 1,050 temporary, dilapidated houses that have been newly built or repaired and put into use. In particular, housing support for people with meritorious services has been 100% completed, contributing to promoting socio -economic development, ensuring social security and sustainable poverty reduction.
However, due to the low starting point of the locality, the majority of beneficiaries are poor households of ethnic minorities, so resource mobilization is still facing many difficulties. The support funds from current programs are not suitable for the price level of construction materials on the market.
In addition, the coordination of initial review and assessment between the district's professional agencies and the People's Committees of the communes still has many shortcomings, leading to many difficulties in implementation. Therefore, the number of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area is still high.

With the spirit of "Leaving no one behind", Nam Tra My aims to complete all 322 houses that need to be newly built and repaired by August 2025.
On this occasion, the Campaign Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Nam Tra My District received donations to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses from agencies, units, businesses and individuals in the area.
