
Attending the match and awarding ceremony were Party Central Committee members: Mai Van Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister; Nguyen Van Duoc, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; leaders of localities and units.
After more than a month of competition with 40 teams, over 100 matches, and more than 380 goals scored, the tournament found its champion, the Sacombank Trade Union team, after a 4-2 penalty shootout victory over the Vietnam Trade Union of Banks (0-0 draw in regular time).
Third place belongs to Sawaco Trade Union and Fourth place team is Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union 2.

The Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament is an annual tournament jointly organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Football Federation and Tuoi Tre Newspaper and has entered its third year.
Through three seasons, the tournament has affirmed that it is a healthy and beneficial sports playground, creating opportunities for exchange, health training, and improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers, civil servants, and laborers across the country.

According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in the context of strong industrialization, modernization and digital transformation, taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers, civil servants, and the core labor force of society is of special importance.
The tournament not only improves health, but also contributes to building a healthy, united, creative and happy workforce, the fundamental elements of a sustainable economy and a humanely developed society.
In this year's tournament, the Organizing Committee also organized activities to support workers and laborers in the central region who suffered damage due to recent severe storms and floods with a total budget of 1 billion VND.
Sharing this gesture, the four teams that won first, second, third, and fourth prizes of the tournament also donated 50% of their prize money to support those affected by storms and floods.
