Phu Tho seeks opinions on draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress

On November 6, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee held a conference to collect opinions on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, with the participation of leaders of many agencies and organizations in the province.

Delegates all agreed and highly unified with the draft content and commented that the documents were carefully and scientifically prepared, with many new points, demonstrating strategic vision, innovative thinking, and steadfastness in the goal of national independence associated with socialism.

The draft document highlights new points such as: Considering the private economy as the most important driving force for development; making breakthroughs in institutions, science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Comrade Bui Van Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee, said: "This report has many new points integrated from three main documents ( political , socio-economic, Party building) and has a specific action program to overcome limitations in organizing the implementation of the resolution."

He proposed that the Political Report should emphasize and further specify solutions to thoroughly overcome weaknesses; supplement specific content of solutions to link culture with the economy (develop cultural products, cultural markets); supplement and emphasize solutions to strengthen regular and unscheduled inspection and supervision of new policies.

Comrade Phan Thanh Nam, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, proposed adding solutions to review and rearrange party organizations to unify and adapt to reality; pay attention to improving the quality of party committees, especially secretaries of party cells and party committees in villages and residential groups.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, proposed specific solutions such as: Building and integrating databases for management, resource exploitation, environmental protection, and climate change adaptation into the national database; strongly developing the environmental industry and services; focusing on investing in developing environmental protection works, preventing and combating natural disasters, and adapting to climate change.

Delegates also recommended that it is necessary to continue reviewing, amending and supplementing regulations related to the authority, procedures and functions of state management agencies, and to analyze more carefully the specific conditions and resources to achieve growth targets.

Regarding Party building and personnel work, delegates said it is necessary to supplement and emphasize the mechanism to protect cadres who dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility for the common interest, avoid criminalizing economic relations; at the same time, there should be a mechanism to screen and replace stagnant cadres...

Appreciating the responsible and dedicated opinions of the delegates, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Luong Duc Minh affirmed that all comments contributed to building the right guidelines, reflecting the will and aspirations of the entire Party and people, contributing to the success of the 14th Congress, bringing the country to steady development in the new era.
