Delegates proposed solutions to promote the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the coming time.

Currently, in the district, there are 61 households receiving housing support for people with meritorious services to the revolution and relatives of martyrs; 16 households are eligible for housing support under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, of which 4 households are newly built; 12 households are repaired with a total cost of 1,137 billion VND. Up to now, in the district, 52/61 houses for people with meritorious services have been built and repaired and 14/16 dilapidated houses for people have been completed, reaching a rate of 87.5%.

The Secretary of Phu Vang District Party Committee emphasized: “Relevant levels, sectors and localities need to strengthen dissemination, propaganda and seriously implement the Government's directive and the city's direction on promoting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, striving to complete this work by June 15. Conduct acceptance of each stage and disbursement according to the provisions of law, at the same time mobilize socialization to create consensus and promote the combined strength of the entire political system, the solidarity and unity of the whole society to join hands in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses”.
