In the first 7 months of 2023, the District People's Committee directed the synchronous implementation of tasks and solutions, so the socio-economic development situation has improved compared to the same period.
The fields of industrial production, trade and services have a good growth rate; the state budget revenue in the area reached 96,632 billion VND; aquatic exploitation reached 11,256 tons/18,000 tons, reaching 62.5% of the plan; vocational training was organized for 795/1,500 workers, reaching 53% of the plan target; new jobs were created for 1,272/2,000 workers, reaching 63.6% of the plan target.
The key tasks in the coming time are to focus on directing farmers to successfully produce the summer-autumn rice crop; pay attention to flood and storm prevention; effectively implement budget collection and expenditure; speed up the disbursement of public investment capital and career capital, especially national target programs; and have a plan to speed up the progress of general planning for communes; promote administrative reform and digital transformation.
