On August 19, the Dong Ngac Ward Party Committee ( Hanoi City) held its first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Chairman of the Hanoi Party Committee's Inspection Committee Hoang Trong Quyet attended and spoke at the congress.

According to the report at the congress, Dong Ngac ward was established on the basis of merging the entire area and population of Duc Thang ward, most of the area and population of Dong Ngac and Co Nhue 2 wards, and part of Thuy Phuong, Xuan Dinh and Minh Khai wards of the old Bac Tu Liem district.

The ward has a natural area of 8.85 km2 with a population of 83,544 people.
