After 2 days (August 10 and 11) with a spirit of urgency and seriousness, the combat exercise in the 2023 defense area of Gia Thuy ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi city has completed all content and program according to the determined plan.

In this year's exercise, Gia Thuy Ward practiced in 3 phases. With the motto "safe, practical, effective, close to the task and area", the advisory agencies, Party Committee and authorities of Gia Thuy Ward actively innovated in content and methods, did a good job of preparation, carefully studied the content, and clearly defined the responsibilities of each individual and collective.

The exercise framework carried out the process of operating the mechanism and the live-fire drills quite well. Especially in the live-fire drills, there was a drill on preventing and fighting against enemy attacks with firepower, the steps were quick, neat and convenient. Especially in organizing the "battle", the participating components coordinated methodically, ensuring absolute safety.

The 2023 defense zone combat exercise attracted the participation of a large number of cadres and people in Gia Thuy ward, contributing to improving the qualifications and leadership and direction capacity of Party committees, management and operation of the government in a state of national defense emergency, transforming the locality from peacetime to wartime; preparing and practicing combat in the local defense zone in accordance with Resolution No. 28-NQ/TW dated September 22, 2008 of the 10th Politburo on "Homeland protection strategy in the new situation".
