
On the evening of November 29, “Red Rain” was screened at Thanh Cong Secondary School, Pham Hong Thai High School, and Hanoi Law University, attracting thousands of residents and students in the ward to watch. The large movie screen and sound system were arranged to make it easy for people to access, including the elderly, the elderly, or students who have never had the opportunity to watch movies in theaters.

Giang Vo Ward’s organization of free film screenings has created a true community space. Many people highly appreciate the free film screenings as a meaningful and useful experience; thereby spreading the profound value of the work “Red Rain”, arousing national pride, patriotism and the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” through the story of the bravery and sacrifice of heroes and martyrs participating in the fight to protect Quang Tri Citadel.
Head of the Department of Culture and Society of Giang Vo Ward, Pham Thanh Ha, said that the free screening of the film "Red Rain" of Giang Vo Ward is a practical initiative in the work of traditional education and "Repaying gratitude"; not only meeting the cultural enjoyment needs of the people but also contributing to fostering patriotism and connecting community sentiment in the ward.

Tonight (November 30), the movie "Red Rain" will continue to be shown for free by Giang Vo ward at Nguyen Trai, Giang Vo, and Phan Chu Trinh secondary schools.
The film “Red Rain” (People’s Army Cinema) was adapted from the novel of the same name by writer Chu Lai, inspired by the fighting to protect Quang Tri Citadel in 1972 during the resistance war against the US to save the country. The film holds the record as the highest-grossing Vietnamese film of all time. “Red Rain” also won the Golden Lotus at the 24th Vietnam Film Festival.
