In Vietnam, the green transport development orientation is being promoted by the Government with a series of incentive policies, from the national strategy on green growth to commitments at COP26. In that context, many businesses have not only stopped at slogans but have embarked on practical actions.
The participation of businesses outside the transportation industry - such as PNJ - shows that green transformation is not just the responsibility of one industry, but is becoming a widespread trend, touching all areas, from manufacturing, retail to services.
Spreading green transportation trends in the business community
Recently, at the seminar "Green Transport Transformation - Breakthrough Investment Opportunity" within the framework of HCMC Business Summit 2025 organized by YBA HCM in collaboration with HAWEE, PNJ signed a cooperation agreement (MOU) with 3 partners: VinFast , GSM and V-Green.

This move initiates a “3 in 1” cooperation model to put green solutions into practice, while affirming PNJ’s commitment to the national green transportation orientation.
According to the MOU, PNJ will cooperate with VinFast to implement programs to encourage employees to switch their personal vehicles to electric vehicles through a series of activities to introduce and experience electric vehicles, and preferential policies...
For GSM, the two sides will cooperate in green mobility transformation and logistics services: PNJ will prioritize the use of GSM electric taxis for internal travel needs and business logistics, and co-sponsor SM Green mobility codes for employees and customers.
In parallel, PNJ and V-Green will jointly develop a plan to develop charging station infrastructure at PNJ stores, offices and factories. The installation of charging stations will be carried out in accordance with legal regulations and with the permission of relevant parties.

Working with strategic partners from vehicles, services to infrastructure not only helps PNJ optimize operations, but also creates a ripple effect, encouraging other businesses to participate in the green transportation transition process.
PNJ and the ESG journey towards Net Zero 2050 commitment
In the 2025 Sustainable Development Report, PNJ emphasized: “Towards the goal of net zero emissions by 2050 as committed by Vietnam, PNJ understands that businesses need to be responsible in accompanying the country on the Net Zero journey. For PNJ, responsibility is not only compliance but also a commitment to action and continuous efforts to find practical solutions to reduce emissions and build sustainable values.”

In fact, PNJ has implemented many ESG programs in production, supply chain and corporate governance to concretize the statement: "Acting responsibly to honor the beauty of people and life in a sustainable way".
The expansion into green transportation in the business is a step in line with the 12 key topics in the ESG strategy that PNJ has built, and is also linked to the "Commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions" approved by the board of directors in 2025.
Accordingly, PNJ commits to reducing greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 15.8% by 2030 compared to 2023; commits to gradually inventorying greenhouse gas emissions and developing emission reduction solutions for scope 3; commits to achieving Net Zero for all operations (scope 1 and scope 2) by 2050.
The practical actions of leading enterprises such as PNJ are contributing to creating a strong influence on the business community, thereby strengthening the belief that green transportation is not only a future trend, but has become part of the growth strategy of Vietnamese enterprises.
