After half a term of implementing the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress (term 2020-2025): Promoting the strength of great national unity

Implementing the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, the Provincial Fatherland Front (VFF) has guided and directed the VFF at all levels, coordinated with socio -political organizations to promote the strength of great solidarity, attract and gather people from all walks of life to actively participate in campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, focusing on the movement to build advanced and exemplary new rural areas (NTM).

Responding to the movement "All people participate in protecting the environment", the Women's Union of Thong Nhat Ward ( Nam Dinh City) launched a campaign to clean up the environment every Saturday.

Every year, the provincial Fatherland Front and its member organizations have closely followed the socio -economic, security and defense tasks of the province, organized many movements with practical content, suitable to the actual situation of the locality; launched emulation movements among union members, association members and people of all walks of life, strongly directed activities to the grassroots and residential areas to promote the role of organizations in performing the common political tasks of the locality. In particular, implementing Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU dated June 18, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee "On building advanced and exemplary new rural areas in the period of 2021-2025", the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have signed a program to coordinate the implementation of the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", mobilizing union members, association members and people of all walks of life to implement the criteria for building advanced and exemplary new rural areas. Regarding the criteria on production organization and rural economic development, the Fatherland Front at all levels and organizations have promoted activities to support preferential loans for members, union members and people to develop production, business, transfer scientific and technical advances, vocational training to create jobs and increase income. Implementing the criteria on environmental landscape, the provincial Fatherland Front coordinated with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to organize propaganda activities in the field of natural resource and environmental protection; organize activities in response to International Day for Biological Diversity (May 22) and World Environment Day (June 5). The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province actively coordinates with the government and member organizations to implement and replicate many models and movements such as "Self-managed residential areas for environmental protection", "Paris and parishes participate in protecting environmental resources", "Garbage collection team", "Self-managed environmental protection team"... Environmental protection content is also added to the village rules and regulations for all people to implement; included in the emulation criteria, evaluating the titles of "Cultural family", "Cultural residential area", "5-no residential area", "Advanced parish and parish", "Exemplary Catholic family". Thereby, it has created awareness and habits for members and people in collecting, classifying and treating waste right at home; treating domestic wastewater and livestock waste in the right places; not dumping waste indiscriminately, especially bags containing chemicals and pesticides; giving up the habit of using plastic bags and disposable plastic products; Encourage the use of biodegradable, environmentally friendly products...

In addition, the Fatherland Front of districts and cities launched many exciting emulation movements, promoting the strength and participation of the entire political system and all people in environmental protection work; proactively coordinating to effectively implement the movement "All people participate in environmental protection". In residential areas, the Front Working Committee mobilized people to carry out general environmental sanitation on Saturdays and Sundays every week; regularly collect and treat waste; undertake planting trees, ornamental plants, flower streets; install lighting systems, contributing to creating a bright - green - clean - beautiful environmental landscape. The member organizations of the Front have actively mobilized members, union members and people to participate in implementing the criteria for the new rural environment. Typically, the Women's Union at all levels in the province has built hundreds of models of women participating in environmental protection, attracting a large number of families of members and people to enthusiastically respond. Notable models are: "Women's Association 3 clean, participating in building new rural areas", "Women's Association against plastic waste, protecting the environment", "Women participating in protecting the environment in coastal areas, building new rural areas", "Bright - green - clean - beautiful, friendly roads", "Green living association", "Women linking to classify, treat waste, protect the environment", "Roads managed by women, contributing to protecting the environment, participating in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Flower routes managed by women"... Farmers' Associations at all levels have a total of 209 association bases, 2,018 associations with specific models and actions participating in implementing environmental criteria in building advanced and exemplary new rural areas. Typical models include: "Model garden", "Collecting pesticide packaging in the field", planting and caring for farmer trees. The model of “Collecting, classifying and processing organic waste into fertilizer at households” has been widely replicated; to date, 9 districts have implemented the model in 153/201 establishments and 1,455 branches. 100% of the branches have models on environmental protection and climate change adaptation...

Implementing the social security program and caring for the poor during Tet of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front, the Fatherland Front at all levels coordinated with member organizations, mobilized businesses and philanthropists throughout the province to care for and ensure the lives of policy beneficiaries, meritorious people, social welfare beneficiaries, and the poor with a total of over 19 billion VND. The Fatherland Front at all levels continued to promote propaganda and mobilize resources to support the "For the Poor" Fund, supporting the construction of Great Unity houses for poor households in the province. In the past 3 years, the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels has mobilized nearly 14 billion VND, supporting the construction and repair of 136 Great Unity houses.

Implementing the criteria on national defense and security, the Fatherland Front at all levels regularly propagates and mobilizes people to comply well with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws through core groups to propagate and disseminate the law, and self-management models on security and order in residential areas. The whole province has completed 3,492 core groups to propagate and disseminate the law in residential areas with over 20,000 members. The Fatherland Front at all levels also coordinates with departments, branches, sectors and organizations to continue to effectively implement programs and projects such as: Project 01/138 on mobilizing "All people to participate in preventing, detecting, denouncing crimes, reforming and educating criminals in families and communities" associated with the movements "All people participate in ensuring traffic order and safety", "Building healthy communes and wards without drug and prostitution evils", "All people protect national security"; Promote the mobilization of residential areas and households to sign a commitment to participate in preventing and combating crime, drugs, social evils, and register to build a "5-no residential area"...

With the implementation of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, the Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations in the province have consolidated, strengthened and expanded the great national unity bloc, creating consensus and political stability, contributing to promoting the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development tasks. Patriotic emulation movements and campaigns continue to be promoted, attracting the participation of many classes of people, notably the campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Day for the poor". The position and role of the Fatherland Front are increasingly affirmed in the political system and social life.

Based on the results achieved in the first half of the term of implementing Resolution XX of the Provincial Party Congress, the Provincial Fatherland Front Party Delegation has identified a number of key tasks in the coming time to lead and direct the Fatherland Front system at all levels to implement in order to contribute to the completion of the goals set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress. In particular, continuing to propagate and mobilize people to unite in participating in the movement to build advanced and model new rural areas; responding to and complying with the law and discipline in site clearance for key projects on socio-economics, national defense and security. Coordinating with the Steering Committee for the New Rural Area Construction Program, socio-political organizations, and competent agencies to guide and organize the collection of opinions on people's satisfaction with the proposal to recognize advanced and model new rural areas; mobilizing people to supervise the construction of advanced and model new rural areas. Effectively organize forms of mobilization and call for support for the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels on the occasion of the Peak Month for the Poor, social security programs; continue to review and support the repair and renovation of Great Solidarity houses for poor households./.
