Cam Le District builds civilized commercial streets, cashless payments

On the afternoon of December 27, Cam Le District People's Committee held a discussion to consult on the project "Piloting investment in a number of civilized commercial streets associated with cashless payments in Cam Le District".

The project aims to evaluate the current status and situation of commercial business activities associated with "cashless payment" of 3 streets: Ong Ich Duong, Nguyen Phuoc Lan, Nguyen Nhan.

On that basis, the project identifies development potential and proposes solutions, policy mechanisms and implementation methods to pilot investment in a number of civilized commercial streets associated with cashless payments.

The District People's Committee has proposed a number of solutions on policies to encourage and support the development of non-cash payments, such as reasonable non-cash payment service fee policies; attracting Fintech (financial technology) businesses; applying tax and fee incentives for businesses and business households using non-cash payments; technical support, training on the use of payment devices and security, etc.
