Hai Chau district budget revenue reached 684 billion VND

On June 5, Chairman of Hai Chau District People's Committee Ho Thuyen chaired a dialogue conference between the Chairman of the District People's Committee and the people before the mid-year regular meeting of the 10th City People's Council.

The report at the conference said that by the end of May, the total state budget revenue in the district was 684 billion VND, reaching 51% of the assigned plan, and the estimated budget revenue in 6 months reached 60% of the plan. The district People's Committee completed the compensation and clearance for the Chi Lang Stadium commercial service complex project; accelerated the disbursement of public investment capital and site clearance for key projects.

In particular, 714 accommodation facilities that do not meet fire prevention and fighting conditions have been repaired. The District People's Committee has completed 100% of the first phase of removing dilapidated temporary houses and is currently implementing the second phase.

Currently, the district is implementing many tasks under the direction and guidance of superiors on the 2-level local government model, from handover preparation work, working conditions of the new ward in the spirit of still ensuring regular socio -economic development tasks; continuous, uninterrupted operation of the government apparatus, especially activities serving the people such as administrative procedures, implementation of social security policies.

At the conference, voters made recommendations on inadequacies in traffic infrastructure, urban order, environmental sanitation, security and order, urban flooding, social security, economic development, etc. The District People's Committee received voters' opinions to assign specialized departments and offices to inspect and handle and have a plan to forward them to the new ward administrative unit for further handling. For opinions under the authority of city departments, offices and branches, the District will synthesize and transfer them to relevant units for handling.
