Thank you to the news agencies and press for always accompanying and promptly disseminating information about the military , defense and foreign affairs activities of the armed forces of Military Region 7.
The effectiveness of information and propaganda work helps to consolidate and strengthen social trust, people trust the Party, agree with the government, love, help and protect the armed forces, and contribute to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.
The leaders of Military Region 7 informed about a number of key tasks in the coming time, especially implementing the policy of merging provinces and communes, dissolving the provincial Border Guard Command and the district Military Command; building a strong, compact, and modern army.
It is recommended that press agencies continue to effectively promote national defense and security strategies and the results of the implementation of the three functions of the combat army, the working army and the production labor army.
Training and combat readiness; prevention and control of natural disasters and epidemics; support for social security; firmly consolidate the national defense system associated with the people's security posture and build defense zones in the Military Region.
Press agencies should strengthen coordination with local military agencies to proactively combat and refute false, hostile information and viewpoints that distort the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws and policies.
Increase the amount of time spent on propaganda about military activities participating in UN peacekeeping; studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; new models, creative ways of doing things and typical advanced examples of the armed forces of Military Region 7.
Representatives of press agencies shared and recommended to the Military Region 7 Command many solutions to improve propaganda effectiveness, in line with modern press trends in the digital age, to spread more strongly and vividly the image of soldiers and combatants of the people.
On this occasion, the Military Region 7 Command awarded certificates of merit to 23 groups and 52 individuals with outstanding achievements in coordinating propaganda activities of the military region's armed forces in recent times.
