Phu Xuan District Youth Union and Young Pioneers' Council presented support for the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" at the conference.

Mr. Truong Quang Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Xuan District, said that immediately after its launch, the program received active support from officials, civil servants, workers, agencies, units, schools, religious organizations and philanthropists. During the peak campaign from March 20 to April 20, the District Fatherland Front received more than 703 million VND from 115 organizations and individuals.

In the wards, the Steering Committee for "Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses" also organized a launching ceremony, mobilizing nearly 400 million VND, proactively providing on-site support. In the first phase, the district allocated 400 million VND to 10 wards to build 1 new house and repair 38 houses for poor and near-poor households with especially difficult circumstances. Each newly built household was supported with 20 million VND, and each repaired household was supported with 10 million VND.

Through screening, the district has 77 households eligible for support to build or repair houses in 2025. It is expected that the second phase will support the remaining 38 households with a total budget of nearly 530 million VND. In addition, the district also calculates to support additional essential facilities for households if funds are available.

The program not only helps poor households have stable homes but also spreads the spirit of mutual love in the community.
