The couple from singer Doan Trang's team - Truong Bao Yen and Truong Thuy Quynh just won the championship of Dau truong nguoi sao 2025. The two performed a total of 6 songs of many genres, including hat xam.

Truong Bao Yen, 36 years old, from Nghe An, from a young age often listened to her mother sing Central folk songs and red music. In 5th grade, Bao Yen and her younger sister cycled 15km at noon, regularly twice a week to participate in activities at the district children's house.

The female singer won third prize in the 2020 Sao Tim Sao program, was praised by Dam Vinh Hung for her singing voice, and introduced to many shows. Although she pursued music for a long time, after Sao Tim Sao , Bao Yen's salary increased, so she moved to Ho Chi Minh City to make a living as a singer.

Bao Yen was married and had two sons, aged 13 and 7, who were living in the countryside with their grandparents. The female singer quickly collapsed, wondering about staying put to pursue her passion.

Born into a poor family with 6 siblings, Bao Yen was not supported by her parents and had to be independent from an early age. At the age of 18, the female singer worked as a waitress to earn money for higher education, then worked as a tax accountant for the Nghe An Provincial Police Guest House for 1 year. Finding it unsuitable and switching to self-studying nail and tailoring through YouTube, Bao Yen did not expect that this would be the job that helped her earn a living for the past 8 years.

Bao Yen designs and sews almost all of her own evening gowns for her performances, and even opened her own fashion store. Besides singing, she is currently studying fashion design.

She affirmed that she is not afraid to sing at weddings and parties, because it is still an honest way to make money.
