Special gift from Western husband to singer Hien Nguyen on VTV

Soprano singer Hien Nguyen and violinist Trinh Minh Hien are two guests of 5-star hotel broadcast at noon on October 26 on VTV3.

Trinh Minh Hien was born in 1980 in Hanoi. She is a violinist, music composer and artistic director of many projects combining traditional - classical - contemporary music. She graduated as valedictorian from the Vietnam National Academy of Music and has performed with many major orchestras at home and abroad. She made her mark through the program Phuong Linh , the MV Dat Nuoc Tron Niem Vui and the album Hanoi Hanoi .

Minh Hien is known as an artist who constantly explores Vietnamese identity in music and spreads that spirit to international audiences. In 2008, she won the Impressive Musician award of the Vietnamese Song program. Trinh Minh Hien's Phuong Linh Liveshow won the Outstanding Program award of the Vietnam Musicians Association in 2023.

Hien Nguyen - a soprano who has conquered audiences from European auditoriums to Vietnamese stages. Graduated in classical vocals at the Milan Conservatory (Italy), Hien Nguyen is one of the few young Vietnamese soprano artists who have received formal training at the cradle of world opera. She possesses a pure, emotional voice and solid bel canto technique, having made a strong impression with classic works such as: O Sole Mio, Caruso, Time to Say Goodbye...

Returning to Vietnam, Hien Nguyen not only performed on big stages but also contributed to bringing classical music closer to the public through art exchange projects - where opera meets Vietnamese love songs, where classical music enters everyday living spaces.

Also in the program, the Italian man Nico Ceccomoro, Hien Nguyen's husband, was introduced to the public for the first time. He also made a special dish for his wife on television. Hien Nguyen studied in Italy and was prejudiced, not thinking she would like Italians. However, when she returned to Vietnam, she accidentally met her husband. At first, Hien Nguyen did not like him, but he persistently pursued her. Nico Ceccomoro shared many private stories about meeting and falling in love with Hien Nguyen.

In 5-star hotel, Trinh Minh Hien and Soprano Hien Nguyen shared about the classical music concert Summer Dream which took place in an old villa in Hanoi. The two artists also shared about the difficult journey of pursuing classical music and their hopes for the future of chamber music. The two artists also performed with Italian artist Paolo Scibilia - conductor and co-performer in the concert Summer Dream - the soundtrack of the movie The Godfather.

Along with that, the Hien couple performed a special version of the song Mat Biec . The two artists performed the program's challenge when Trinh Minh Hien played 4 pieces of pop violin and Hien Nguyen had to sing those 4 songs in opera style.
