Within the framework of the Festival, there will be: Vietnam - Korea tourism promotion and cultural cooperation forum, business meetings with the participation of high-ranking leaders of our country; space to promote the image of the country, people, tourism culture; trade parties; art performances...

This is an opportunity for the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, localities and tourism businesses to introduce policies, destinations and attractive products, and an opportunity for businesses to establish business cooperation relationships and attract Korean tourists to our country.

According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, from 2015 to 2019, the number of Korean visitors to Vietnam increased dramatically, from 1.1 million to 4.3 million (an increase of nearly 4 times). The average growth rate in the period of 2015 - 2019 reached 40.1%/year, the highest among the source markets sending visitors to Vietnam. This shows that Korea is always a key market for Vietnamese tourism and still has a lot of potential and room to exploit.

In December 2022, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (then the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism - VNAT) and the Korea National Tourism Organization (KTO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in promoting Vietnam - Korea tourism for the period 2023 - 2024, creating a basis for the two sides to promote tourism cooperation and exchange of visitors.

In 2023, Vietnam welcomed 12.6 million international visitors, including 3.6 million Korean visitors, ranking first among foreign tourist markets to Vietnam. This positive result is a testament to the effectiveness of tourism promotion and bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.

On the other hand, Vietnam is also the leading source market for Korean tourists in Southeast Asia with about 420,000 visitors. In 2023, the total two-way exchange of visitors between Vietnam and Korea will reach 4 million, recovering 83% compared to before the COVID-19 pandemic. The destinations favored by Korean tourists are the Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An cluster, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Da Lat, Phu Quoc...; charter flights also focus on exploiting these destinations.

Previously, in 2023, the Vietnam Tourism and Culture Promotion Festival in Korea took place in Suwon City and Seoul Capital. In particular, the program to introduce Vietnam tourism and connect tourism businesses of the two countries in Seoul attracted thousands of participants to enjoy the art night "Colors of Vietnam".

The program impresses the audience with images of majestic and poetic landscapes and unique cultural heritages imbued with Vietnamese identity of the three regions of the country. At the same time, it depicts a brilliant picture of Vietnam, blending traditional and contemporary values, absorbing the quintessence of human culture, integrating, always welcoming international friends...
