According to this plan, by 2030, Quang Nam aims to continue developing advantageous products such as: pharmaceuticals, plastic pellet production, plastic packaging, industrial gases, organic solvents for the garment industry...

In particular, special attention is paid to investing in technological innovation, applying cleaner production, building and developing brands to improve the quality and competitiveness of products in the market. Priority is given to attracting investment in developing fields of manufacturing products with high scientific and technical content, modern technology, and high added value, such as: drugs (pharmaceuticals), pharmaceutical chemicals, high-end cosmetics; biological products used in environmental treatment; plastic products serving other manufacturing industries.

Orienting the development of the chemical industry in Quang Nam in depth, adjusting the investment structure towards key sub-sectors and developing the chemical industry towards modernity, sustainability, and green growth.
