Quang Ngai: Bamboo bridge rebuilt, 34 households escape separation

On the morning of November 1, Mr. Huynh Viet Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Xa Commune, Quang Ngai Province, said that local authorities and local people built a bamboo bridge across the stream to help 34 households escape separation.

Due to the impact of prolonged rain and floods, the bamboo bridge at Group 1, Nuoc Chach village, Ba Xa commune was swept away by floodwaters, causing 34 households with 140 people to be partially isolated.

Immediately after that, Ba Xa Commune Police coordinated with local people to urgently fix the problem. Each bamboo tree was contributed by the people and moved to the stream bank; the forces worked together to reinforce the bridge foundation, build the frame, connect each bamboo tree across the stream, complete the bridge surface firmly, ensuring safety for travel.

By the morning of November 1, a new bamboo bridge connected the two banks, helping people in Nuoc Chach village to conveniently return to their daily lives and production.
