Quang Tri honors outstanding collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement

On October 28, the first Patriotic Emulation Congress of Quang Tri province, period 2025-2030 was solemnly held at the Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center. This is an event to honor advanced models, further promote the emulation movement, contributing to bringing Quang Tri into a new era.

Quang Tri Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Phuong presented noble awards to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

Attending the Congress were comrade Nguyen Van Phuong, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee; leaders of Quang Tri province through the periods; representatives of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee and representative collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement of the province.

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Emulation and Reward Council of Quang Tri province Tran Phong said that with the theme "Promoting heroic traditions, the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Tri province unite, compete in innovation, creativity, and successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025-2030", the first Patriotic Emulation Congress aims to summarize the patriotic emulation movement in the past time of the two provinces of Quang Tri and Quang Binh (old); thereby honoring and praising typical examples of the patriotic emulation movement.

The implementation of emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister such as "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025"... has changed the face of rural areas in Quang Tri province, thereby forming livable countryside.

The province has also completed the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for local people.

Recently, with the emulation movement "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation", the movement "Digital education for the masses" has opened up favorable conditions to promote the application of digital technology, build digital government and digital society in the new period.

In particular, the emulation movement to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has been widely responded to by all classes of people and has had a profound influence. Through the movement, more and more typical and advanced individuals and groups have emerged to follow Uncle Ho's example in all fields.

At the Congress, 80 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements were honored and rewarded, including many individuals and collectives awarded the First, Second and Third Class Labor Medals by the Party and State and other noble awards.

Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong affirmed that after the province's merger, the two-level local government apparatus has been operating stably. Despite many difficulties, with the revolutionary tradition, solidarity spirit, and will to rise up, the province's patriotic emulation movement will continue to develop more strongly, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, striving to make Quang Tri province a new growth pole in the Central region.
