
The project was implemented by Dr. Nguyen Tri Thuc, Deputy Minister of Health , former Director of Cho Ray Hospital; Dr. Du Thi Ngoc Thu and Master Le Thanh Chuong. This is considered the first specialized software in Vietnam serving the coordination of tissue and organ donation and transplantation.
The design content is based on the regulations of the Vietnamese Ministry of Health , clinical experience and creative editing to suit the conditions of implementation and application in Vietnam.

The project has full descriptive documents and has been accepted in 2022 and 2023 by the Hospital's grassroots level and the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City.
Currently, this software has been and is being applied in practice at Cho Ray Hospital with more than 60,000 people registering to donate organs and has the prospect of being widely applied nationwide to all hospitals whether or not they have an organ transplant center.

The success of the project demonstrates the capacity for innovation and application of high technology in modern medicine, demonstrating the steady progress of the Vietnamese healthcare sector in digital transformation.
With this achievement, Cho Ray Hospital continues to affirm its position as the leading end-line hospital in the country, a pioneer in research and application of artificial intelligence, contributing to realizing the aspiration of bringing Vietnamese medicine deeply into the digital age.

Previously, within the framework of the 8th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Health Sector, Cho Ray Hospital was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Minister of Health for its outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement of the health sector in the period 2020-2025.
