“Coach Kim Sang-sik asked me if I was tired because I had just played a few days before. He also told me to rest because we needed to be in the best condition when we gathered with the Vietnamese team. Coach Kim Sang-sik is a good and kind coach. He took the initiative to ask me how I felt. That made me think he is a very good coach,” Cao Pendant Quang Vinh said about coach Kim Sang-sik before the afternoon training session on June 1.

The Vietnamese team has gathered since May 29, however, due to the V.League match schedule, Cao Pendant Quang Vinh and a group of players from CAHN and Binh Duong have only gathered since yesterday (May 31). The defender with mixed Vietnamese and French blood is the new player of the team in this gathering. However, he himself said that there was nothing surprising and received a warm welcome from the team members.

“The atmosphere here is like at the club. Everyone is smiling and talking happily, welcoming me like a family member. I feel very good. Although it is only 10 days, I think I will adapt quickly and will try my best,” Quang Vinh continued.

It has been 10 days since the list of Vietnam national team was announced.
