Continuing the program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, this morning (May 7), the National Assembly held a plenary session in the hall to listen to the contents of the Submission of the draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; Submission and Report on the examination of the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended); Submission and Report on the examination of the draft Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (amended).

The National Assembly also listened to the Report on explanation, acceptance and revision of the draft Law on Employment (amended); then, the National Assembly discussed in the hall a number of contents with different opinions of the draft Law on Employment (amended).

In the afternoon, the National Assembly discussed in groups the following contents: Draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; Draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended) and Draft Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (amended).

Previously, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and issued Resolution No. 194/2025/QH15 on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and Resolution No. 195/2025/QH15 on establishing a Committee to draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 194/2025/QH15, the National Assembly decided to consider amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution to implement the policy of streamlining the organization of the political system, focusing on regulations on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and the delimitation of administrative units and local government organizations.

The National Assembly established a Committee to draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution to preside over and coordinate with agencies to develop a draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and submit it to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the 9th Session.

In Resolution No. 195/2025/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to establish a Committee to draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, consisting of 15 members, with National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man as Chairman of the Committee.

On May 6, the work of collecting opinions from the people, sectors and levels on the entire draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution began and will last for 30 days.
