The National Assembly approved Mr. Le Hoai Trung to hold the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Mr. Le Hoai Trung was born in 1961, hometown in Hue city; Member of the Party Central Committee, 12th and 13th terms, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, 13th term (from October 2023), Delegate of the 15th National Assembly.

On the morning of October 24, at the 10th Session, the 15th National Assembly approved the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint Mr. Le Hoai Trung, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Le Hoai Trung was born in 1961, his hometown is Huong Thuy district, former Thua Thien-Hue province (now Hue city); he has a high level of political theory; professional qualifications include Doctor of Law, Master of International Law and Diplomacy.

Mr. Le Hoai Trung grew up in the diplomatic sector. He is a member of the 12th and 13th Party Central Committee, Secretary of the 13th Party Central Committee (from October 2023), and a delegate of the 15th National Assembly .
