Attending the opening ceremony were leaders and former leaders of the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front; members of the Politburo , Secretariat and Central Party Committee; leaders and former leaders of central and local departments, ministries, branches and agencies; and representatives of embassies, diplomatic agencies and international organizations in Vietnam.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, in his opening speech, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: “The first Autumn Fair - 2025 is an economic and cultural event of great importance, not only on a national scale but also on an international scale, honoring typical products and brands with Vietnamese identity and intelligence; contributing to stimulating domestic consumption, spreading the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", promoting trade, investment, international integration, aiming for an economic growth rate of over 8% in 2025 and double digits in the following years".

The fair will be held from October 25 to November 4, 2025 at the National Exhibition and Fair Center - a modern and unique building, a new symbol of the Capital, a place to gather, light up and spread the spirit of innovation, cooperation and development.

This event follows the brilliant success of the National Achievement Exhibition "80 Years of Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", which promotes pride, spreads patriotism, self-reliance and aspiration to rise strongly of the Vietnamese people.

With the theme and message "Connecting people with production and business", the first Autumn Fair - 2025 is organized on the largest scale ever, with a total exhibition area of over 130,000 m², including 5 themed zones with about 3,000 booths; culinary culture areas of 34 localities, along with music and art programs and rich cultural and artistic experiences.

The fair gathered the participation of 34 provinces and cities; central ministries and branches; over 2,500 Vietnamese and international organizations and enterprises, and attracted a large number of international partners and friends to display products, trade, connect, and seek cooperation and investment opportunities.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated the organization of the first Autumn Fair - 2025 for the first time, with a short preparation time, large workload, high requirements, large area, requiring the coordination of many agencies and units but still achieved "6 best": Largest scale - Most modern space - Most diverse products - Highest quality - Most attractive activities - Best incentive policies.

The fair is a vivid demonstration of the country's integration mindset, outstanding capacity, breakthrough aspiration and contemporary stature; at the same time, it is a symbol of the crystallization of the spirit of solidarity, creativity, high determination, great efforts, and drastic actions "only discussing, not retreating" of the Government, ministries, branches, localities, business community, entrepreneurs and people of Vietnam.

Not only stopping at record numbers, the Fair is also a favorable opportunity for trade, investment, tourism promotion and cultural promotion, the image of the country and people of Vietnam to be combined harmoniously and effectively; a place where domestic and foreign resources are connected, investment cooperation is expanded, trade is promoted, consumption is stimulated; a space for people to experience high-quality Vietnamese products, while enjoying rich, creative and unique cuisine, culture and art.

The fair is also an important bridge for Vietnamese enterprises to strengthen international economic integration, exchange experiences and receive technology transfer, especially in the fields of digital transformation, green economy, circular economy, sharing economy and knowledge economy, contributing to realizing two 100-year strategic goals, for a peaceful, prosperous, prosperous, civilized and happy Vietnam.

With its strategic geographical location and the aspiration to bring the country to new heights, the first Autumn Fair - 2025 is an important step towards the goal of building Vietnam into a leading exhibition center in Asia, a destination for international trade fairs, contributing to "developing cultural industry and creative economy to become a new pillar of growth" as General Secretary To Lam emphasized.

The Prime Minister acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the Ministry of Industry and Trade, ministries, branches, localities, businesses, people and international friends for joining hands, making efforts and actively participating in organizing the first Autumn Fair - 2025.

In order for the Fair to truly become a "destination" for trade, a "meeting place" for cultural and artistic exchange, and a "convergence point" for connection and vivid experiences with people and international friends, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to carefully prepare all necessary conditions, ensuring the Fair takes place successfully; moving towards organizing a series of annual four-season "Spring - Summer - Autumn - Winter" fairs and the annual Autumn International Fair.

Ministries, branches, agencies, units and localities actively and proactively promote and introduce typical and typical products, especially OCOP products; organize investment, tourism and trade promotion programs, bringing Vietnamese brands to the world market. Hanoi People's Committee has done a good job of ensuring security and order, preventing and fighting fires and explosions, traffic safety and supporting people to attend the Fair.

Associations, corporations, and enterprises continue to promote and introduce products; diversify markets, products, and supply chains; proactively seek partners, access new technologies, and new markets; and participate deeply in regional and global production networks and supply chains.

The Prime Minister requested international organizations to strengthen cooperation, introduce the Fair to a wide range of friends around the world; promote cultural exchanges; support and connect with Vietnamese partners and businesses, especially in the fields of science - technology, innovation, digital transformation, green transformation... Press and media agencies focus on reporting on the Fair, spreading the spirit of innovation, arousing national pride and self-esteem, promoting the image of Vietnam to the international community.

The Prime Minister affirmed: The first Autumn Fair - 2025 not only opens a new space for connection between businesses and consumers, between Vietnam and the world, between people and production - business, but more importantly, it is a place "where creativity originates - intelligence shines - exchange, learn - affirm courage - spread pride" and the spirit of "Constructive State - Pioneering Enterprises - Public and Private Partnership - Rich Country - Happy People". The success of the Fair will add confidence, arouse aspirations, foster determination to bring the country to rise strongly, conquer new heights, affirm the position and stature of the Vietnamese people in the international arena.

Also at the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent his deepest condolences and regards to the people and soldiers in the areas affected by natural disasters and floods; and expressed his admiration for the spirit of solidarity, resilience and overcoming difficulties of the people.

The Prime Minister requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front and called on the business community, compatriots and soldiers nationwide to continue donating and supporting people in flood-hit areas, with the gesture of "national love, compatriots' love", "the whole leaves cover the torn leaves". Sharing is a manifestation of humanity, spreading good values and promoting social responsibility, which is also the good nature of our regime. The Prime Minister thanked organizations and individuals at home and abroad for their attention and contributions to the work of preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives and restore production and business.
