At exactly 10:35 a.m. (local time), the Vietnamese national flag was raised at the 19th Asian Games Athletes' Village square, marking the official presence of the Vietnamese sports delegation at this congress.
Fencer Vu Thanh An, one of the leading athletes of Vietnamese sports, expressed: "When the national flag was raised and the members of the Vietnamese sports delegation proudly sang the national anthem, I felt even more love, pride, and more determination and motivation to compete with all my might for the flag and colors of the Fatherland."
