In the first quarter of 2025, Quang Nam has many industrial products increasing compared to the same period.

(QNO) - According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the industrial production index in March 2025 in the province is estimated to increase by 21.2% over the previous month and increase by 10.7% over the same period last year.

Of which, the mining industry (up 6.2% compared to the previous month, up 23% compared to the same period); the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 24.7% compared to the previous month, up 10.5% compared to the same period; the electricity production and distribution industry decreased by 14.2% compared to the previous month, up 16.2% compared to the same period; the water supply and waste treatment industry decreased by 1.5% compared to the previous month, up 4% compared to the same period.

In the first 3 months of the year, the industrial production index of the whole industry is estimated to increase by 14.8% over the same period in 2024. All 4 main industry groups achieved positive growth over the same period last year, including the mining industry increased by 33.6%; the manufacturing and processing industry increased by 14.5%; the electricity production and distribution industry increased by 19.9%; and the water supply industry increased by 6.3%.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, in the first quarter of 2025, Quang Nam had many industrial products that increased compared to the same period, such as coal estimated at 29.5 thousand tons (up 30.9% compared to the first quarter of 2024); construction stone reached more than 77 thousand cubic meters (up 39.5%); frozen seafood reached 239 tons (up 5.5%); fresh water 72.8 million liters (up 8.6%); woven fabric from cotton with cotton content of 85% or more reached 677 thousand square meters (up 35.3%)...

However, there are some industrial products that have decreased compared to the same period, such as aquatic feed (down 18.6% compared to the first quarter of 2024); fish fillets and other fresh and chilled fish meat (down 41.9%); occupational clothing (down 81.8%); wood shavings and chips (down 1.8%); ethylene polymer bags and sacks (down 30%); prefabricated metal building components (down 29.3%); variable resistors of the wound type (down 26.7%)...
