(GLO) - On the afternoon of December 15th, while visiting and inspecting the progress of housing construction for people affected by storms and floods, Colonel Nguyen The Vinh, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, expressed his hope that military units would be determined to ensure the quality of construction and promptly hand over the houses so that people can stabilize their lives.

The delegation visited the forces of the 34th Corps, 3rd Naval Region, who are assisting the people of Tuy Phuoc Dong commune in rebuilding their homes. They also inspected the progress of house construction projects undertaken by the Provincial Military Command and the Defense Command of Region 6 - An Nhon Dong in Tuy Phuoc Tay and Tuy Phuoc Bac communes.

According to statistics from the Provincial Military Command, as of December 15th, out of 100 houses being built with the support of military units under the Ministry of National Defense and the Provincial Military Command, 25 houses are under foundation work, 60 are under wall construction, 7 are under concrete pouring, 7 are under roofing, and 1 has been completed.

In various localities, the leaders of the Provincial Military Command acknowledged the sense of responsibility and the efforts of military units in overcoming difficulties in carrying out the task of supporting people in building houses. In particular, the housing projects were generally completed on schedule, adhering to technical requirements and construction quality standards; the soldiers performing their duties consistently maintained their image, demeanor, and discipline.
