The program was attended by many members of the Literature and Arts Association and teachers and students of secondary and high schools in Lao Cai city.
Over the past half century, Vietnamese literature and art have been constantly developing, contributing to beautifying the human soul and enriching the spiritual life of the people. In that flow, Lao Cai literature and art have gradually affirmed their own mark, bearing strong identity, closely attached to the land and people of Lao Cai. The works are all the crystallization of serious artistic work, devoted to the homeland and the nation.


At the program, the Lao Cai Literature and Arts Association launched the publication “Collection of Good Short Stories of Lao Cai”. The collection is over 300 pages thick with 27 short stories by 18 authors, depicting the changes in Lao Cai literature and arts.
In addition, 8 books by members of the Lao Cai Provincial Literature and Arts Association were also introduced on this occasion, including: The memoir and reportage "Where the Mother River is from" by author Quoc Hong; the short story collection "Agarwood" by author Pham Luong Bang; the poetry collection "Memories" by author Mai Mo; the poetry collection "Difference" by author Doan Huu Nam; the children's story collection "The Horseman Boy" by author Cao Van Tu; the memoir collection "The Face of Time" by author Nguyen Ngoc Duong; the folk literature research collection "The Green Mong in Lao Cai" by the group of authors Duong Tuan Nghia - Nguyen Ngoc Thanh (co-editor) - Nguyen Thi Minh Tu - Nguyen Thi Hoa; the folk literature research collection "The Weaving Craft of the Dao People in Bao Thang District, Lao Cai Province" by author Nguyen Thi Minh Tu.




At the program, more than 500 books and magazines of various specialties were displayed and introduced at the Provincial Museum. The exhibition period is from April 28 to May 5.
