Launching the Soft-shell Turtle Farming Cooperative May 19

(HG) - The Veterans Association of Long Tri commune, Long My town has just launched the May 19 Softshell Turtle Cooperative.

The group has 3 members, with a farming area of ​​over ^1,200m2 , a total charter capital of 450 million VND, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Duyen, a member of the Veterans Association of Hamlet 2, Long Tri Commune. The business line is providing soft-shell turtle breeds and commercial soft-shell turtles. By joining the cooperative, members of the group have the task of linking, supporting and helping each other in production, pond renovation, exchanging experiences in soft-shell turtle farming and product consumption. At the launching ceremony, the cooperative approved the operating regulations in the fields of production, breeding, and product consumption, contributing to effectively shifting the structure of crops and livestock, enhancing prestige, and attracting members to the association.

Up to now, the veterans' associations of communes and wards in the town have established 4 cooperative groups to jointly develop family economy .
