Launching marine environmental sanitation campaign before tourist season

Identifying the importance of environmental sanitation in building a tourism brand, from the beginning of the 2025 tourist season, local authorities and units have organized many campaigns to clean up the marine environment, contributing to creating a green, clean, beautiful landscape and improving the quality of tourism services.

On the eve of the 2025 beach tourism season, on average once a week, Thach Ha district coordinates with mass organizations, restaurant and hotel owners in the area to organize environmental cleaning campaigns at tourist destinations such as Thach Hai beach and Xuan Hai beach. After collection, waste such as mollusk shells, plastic waste, etc. are classified, buried or gathered to be transported to a centralized landfill for treatment, returning a green and clean environment to the beach.

At Thien Cam beach, after days of heavy rain and big waves, the coast was also flooded with garbage. Faced with this situation, volunteer forces such as the youth union, officials, civil servants, and workers of agencies and units participated in collecting garbage and cleaning up, focusing on pollution hotspots. This activity has contributed to cleaning the sea, while raising public awareness of environmental protection.

Currently, coastal localities are continuing to maintain volunteer teams to clean the beaches, ready to welcome tourists to Ha Tinh to enjoy exciting vacations.

With nearly 137km of coastline, Ha Tinh has many ideal beaches, a favorite resort destination for many tourists in the summer. Joining hands to clean the beach not only demonstrates responsibility for the environment, but is also a way for the community to join hands to make Ha Tinh an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists./.
