Coach Ruben Amorim is building an attacking trio of Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha at Old Trafford, so there is no room for Rashford. Barcelona can activate the clause to buy Rashford at the end of this season for a fee of 35 million euros.

Rashford also said he considered playing for Barcelona a “huge honour” in his career. “For anyone who loves football, Barcelona is one of the greatest clubs in history. I had spoken to them a few times before, but it was only now that it really happened. After 23 years at Man Utd, maybe I needed a change, and I am happy to have found it here,” the striker shared.
