Den Vau in the role of the Spirit of the Forest
On March 4th, Den Vau collaborated with OMO to release the music video "Music of the Forest ," inspired by the song "Forest Music " by composer Hoang Viet, which has been familiar to many generations.
Known for his simple, unpretentious musical style, coupled with lyrics that convey profound ideas and thoughts about social issues, Den Vau always allows viewers to connect with his unique musical world.
The music of the forest paints a picture of a beloved ancient forest, where birds and flowers bloom, and streams have flowed gently for centuries, yet it is being severely damaged and increasingly polluted. Animals are timid and afraid of humans, streams are drying up, and ancient trees are being mercilessly cut down—these metaphorical images reflect the current state of Mother Nature.
The children carried saplings into the forest to plant them.
The children ventured into the forest with the most genuine feelings, from discovering new things and seeking shade to enjoy the beauty of nature, to planting saplings in the hope of contributing to environmental protection and nature conservation.
The music video conveys a message that is relatable and natural, just like Den Vau's approach to music: 'Let's join hands to protect the environment, greening barren land.' Whether young or old, we all depend on nature, so now is the time for us to take action, 'getting dirty to protect Vietnam's green shield.'
This collaboration with Den Vau serves as a message of commitment between OMO and the environment, aiming for a green future and protecting Mother Nature.
From 2021 to 2023, OMO, together with the Center for Resource and Environment Communication, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, initiated the tree planting program "Action for a Green Vietnam".
Getting 'dirty' to plant trees
From 2019 to the present, nearly 700,000 trees have been planted and 80,000 seed balls have been sown in 19 provinces and cities, and 9 national parks across the country. This is the driving force for the program to continue bringing greenery to barren lands, carrying with it the belief in a more sustainable life, aiming to plant 1 million trees by 2025.
The message 'Getting Dirty Does Good' and OMO's partnership with 'Getting Dirty for a Green Shield for Vietnam' carries the great significance of planting trees, greening barren hills and mountains, and restoring ecosystems across the country.
