Twelve meridians and yoga exercises were published by SSY Company - The Sower in collaboration with Vietnam Women's Publishing House in July.
The 140-page book, compiled by SSY - Sower trainers, is based on the principles of oriental medicine, establishing the relationship between 12 meridians and muscle groups in the body, thereby providing a series of corresponding exercises.
The book is a good reference for yoga instructors. Based on these principles, they can build their own series of lessons and suitable for those who have practiced yoga to practice according to the book.
The asanas (general term for meditation postures) that the authors chose to include in the book are simple exercises, helping people who have practiced yoga for a while understand the basics of yoga alignment and practice them on their own.

Previously, during a yoga therapy course, a member of the SSY group - The Sowers had access to the Yoga & Meridian Anatomy Handbook by Dr. Le Hai.
In this document, the doctor pointed out the relationship between muscle groups and meridians. Specifically, in the 12 main meridians, there will be a few muscle groups that when impacted, indirectly, that meridian will be impacted.
After studying the materials, SSY - The Sower trainers created exercises for each meridian.
After experiencing 12 series of exercises corresponding to 12 meridians, the SSY group - The Sowers decided to put the exercises into the book, with the greatest wish of sowing health seeds for the community.
"The book "Twelve meridians and yoga exercises" when put into practice will be the gateway to help people enter a new world view. It is a place where each person can see more clearly about their own body and gain more understanding about yoga and traditional medicine of our country.
With the depth and sophistication in receiving knowledge in each page, this valuable book can be considered a ladder to bring readers to a new level to understand more about themselves.
From there, people find the way to live healthy and young for themselves and skillfully show the way to those who want to accompany them," commented Dr. Le Hai.

SSY is an abbreviation for Sowing the Seeds of Yoga, which in Vietnamese means sowing the seeds of yoga.
Initially, SSY was a group of yoga instructors who wanted to spread the spirit of service to the community. They opened free short-term yoga classes, with simple, repetitive exercises so that after the course, people could practice on their own to improve their health.
SSY is especially aimed at vulnerable groups such as single women, women with financial difficulties, abused women, and special children.
SSY - The sower founded SSY LLC. Keeping the principle of spreading the spirit of yoga practice to the community, they organize online classes with fees that even people with little money can attend, and free for people in difficult circumstances.
They also often donate a portion of the funds from opening classes to support disadvantaged individuals/communities.
