Sacombank promotes public services and cashless payments

Mr. Tran Thai Binh - Director of Sacombank Digital Banking Division introduced digital banking products to Mr. Duong Anh Duc - Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Mr. Pham Tien Dung - Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam at the event.

At the event, Sacombank brought to attendees many digital banking experiences such as opening a payment account with eKYC technology within 5 seconds; contactless payment by card/Apple Pay/Google Pay; QR scanning for quick payment/money transfer/withdrawal; Tap to Phone technology allows card accepting units to use Android mobile devices as a POS machine for contactless payment; NFC technology allows customers using mobile phones to install Sacombank Pay on the Android operating system for contactless payment on POS machines or mobile devices with Tap to Phone feature; modern banking ecosystem for businesses (account services, payroll services, corporate cards, e-banking...).

Identifying technology as a pillar in its development strategy, in recent years, Sacombank has actively invested in infrastructure and applied advanced technology, creating a foundation for digital transformation, innovation and creativity in management, administration, operations, business... according to 4 core factors including: Technology infrastructure, Comprehensive digital solutions, Digital products - Services, People and digital thinking.

Some of Sacombank's outstanding digital transformation achievements in 2023 include the successful deployment of STM smart transaction machines at a number of key branches with outstanding utilities such as voice transactions and touch interaction; friendly, easy-to-use interface; safe and secure with 2 layers of authentication. At STM, customers can open payment accounts; deposit/withdraw cash by card/citizen ID; update ID card to citizen ID; open/withdraw/close savings online; activate and create PIN; withdraw money by QR code; quickly issue payment cards and print physical cards... Sacombank's website has been improved, adding features to analyze and personalize user behavior, chatbox for online consultation for customers, integrating calculation tools for insurance/deposit/loan/installment products... The transaction flow system at the counter helps save time and minimize errors in transaction processing.
