Arsenal and Tottenham entered the North London derby in round 6 of the Premier League in high form after an unbeaten streak. The spectators at Emirates Stadium witnessed an exciting match with many goals.
The home team started the game better and played with high intensity. Bukayo Saka's shot in the 26th minute hit Christian Romero's foot and bounced into the Tottenham goal, giving Arsenal the opening goal. However, coach Mikel Arteta's players could not maintain their lead throughout the first half.

After several excellent saves, goalkeeper David Raya could not save the home team from Son Heung-min's exquisite shot in the 42nd minute. James Maddison was the one who made the assist.
Romero, Saka, Maddison and Son Heung-min continued to be the standout names in the remaining part of the match. Early in the second half, Romero committed a handball in the penalty area, allowing Saka to score from the penalty spot to put Arsenal ahead for the second time.

Tottenham responded just two minutes later. Jorginho's silly loss of possession in midfield gifted the visitors an equaliser. Maddison then set up Son Heung-min for the winner.
The goal from an individual mistake caused Arsenal to have problems. They were stuck in attack while the home team's ability to counterattack was not good. Both Son Heung-min and Maddison had chances to score to put Tottenham ahead but failed to take advantage.
In the final minutes of the match, Arsenal attacked relentlessly. The home team was determined to win 3 points and continuously put the ball into the penalty area. However, the Gunners' efforts were not enough to help them score. The North London derby ended in a 2-2 draw.
