Morning of May 17: Opening of exhibition celebrating 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press

This is also an activity to celebrate the 97th anniversary of Than Newspaper, the 62nd anniversary of Quang Ninh Newspaper's first issue, and the 42nd anniversary of Quang Ninh Television broadcasting, marking a milestone in the formation and strong development of Quang Ninh journalism in the flow of Vietnamese and world journalism.

The exhibition opens at 8am on May 17 and lasts until May 27 at the Special Exhibition Hall, Quang Ninh Museum. The exhibition includes the following spaces: 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, History of Quang Ninh Press, Outstanding Achievements of Quang Ninh Province; Virtual Reality Studio Area.

In addition, the Exhibition also displays over 100 valuable documents and artifacts related to the historical process of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press as well as the Quang Ninh Press. In addition, there are also radio and television broadcasting equipment and machinery preserved by the Provincial Media Center, which have accompanied the milestones of formation and development of Quang Ninh Province.

The exhibition is part of the series of activities of the Quang Ninh Press Festival. After the opening of the exhibition, there will be a discussion program: "Quang Ninh journalists learn and follow Ho Chi Minh's journalism style in the new era"; from 3:00 p.m. on May 17, there will be a Team Building program and gala dinner at Tuan Chau Beach (Tuan Chau Ward, Ha Long City).

The exhibition and activities in the Quang Ninh Press Festival are organized to promote and introduce the proud marks of Quang Ninh journalists through the periods; educate about the heroic historical tradition, potential, position and prestige of Quang Ninh province through the outstanding achievements and great contributions of Quang Ninh Press to the overall development of the province and the country. At the same time, create an atmosphere of pride and excitement about the solidarity and glorious tradition of revolutionary journalism in Quang Ninh, as well as encourage the team of reporters and journalists to strive to contribute to building the homeland to be more and more beautiful, civilized; contribute to building the Vietnamese revolutionary press to be more and more united, professional, modern and humane.
