According to regulations, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, after being elected, will take an oath before the National Assembly. This content will be broadcast live on radio and television for voters and the public to follow.
This afternoon, the National Assembly will discuss in the hall the draft Law on Population and the draft Law on Disease Prevention.
Tomorrow, delegates will hear presentations, review reports and discuss the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Citizen Reception, the Law on Complaints, the Law on Denunciation; the draft Law on Investment (amended); and the draft Law on Drug Prevention and Control (amended).
The draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Prices; the draft Law on Vietnam Civil Aviation (amended); the draft Law on Execution of Criminal Judgments (amended); and the draft Law on Execution of Temporary Detention, Temporary Imprisonment and Prohibition from Leaving Place of Residence will be discussed by delegates on November 12.
The draft Law on Construction (amended), the draft Law on E-commerce, the draft Law on Deposit Insurance (amended), and draft laws related to security and order will also be discussed by the National Assembly this week.
The National Assembly will vote to pass three resolutions for 2026: the socio-economic development plan, the state budget estimate, and the central budget allocation plan.
Submit to the National Assembly the investment policy for Gia Binh airport project
This week, the National Assembly will hear the Minister of Construction present a report on the investment policy for the Gia Binh International Airport construction project.
At the meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on November 6, Minister Tran Hong Minh said that the investment in the construction of Gia Binh airport is a strategic and breakthrough step, contributing to restructuring the aviation network of the capital region according to the "dual center" model that has been successfully applied by many large cities in the world.
Gia Binh Airport aims to achieve 5-star international airport service standards, be among the top 10 5-star airports in the world and be among the airports with excellent passenger experience according to the assessment of Airports Council International.
The total investment capital of the project is about 196,378 billion VND, of which phase 1 is about 141,236 billion VND, phase 2 is about 55,142 billion VND. The project is invested by the investor's capital, including equity and legally mobilized capital, with an operating period of 70 years (2025-2095).
The project requires land use of about 1,884.93 hectares, including 124.8 hectares of security land; 327.1 hectares of public land; 169.62 hectares of residential land; 922.25 hectares of rice land; 9.16 hectares of religious land, 20.58 hectares of cemetery and crematorium land.
