For this year's 10th grade entrance exam, Da Nang has 26 examination councils for the regular system and 2 councils organizing the entrance exam to Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted.
When taking the 10th grade entrance exam, you need to pay attention to the '5 no's'
According to the Da Nang Departmentof Education and Training, this year's enrollment period has 11,010 quotas for grade 10. Of these, 10,296 are for the public system (including Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted) and 714 are for the continuing education system. There are 195 students admitted directly, of which 9 students still registered to take the entrance exam for specialized schools.
Ms. Hoang Yen Phi, teacher at Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School (Cam Le District, Da Nang City), noted: if a candidate forgets their exam admission ticket, they should still go to the exam site as usual and report it to the invigilator. Absolutely do not return home to get it because they may miss the exam time.
Regarding preparing materials, Ms. Phi emphasized: candidates should memorize their registration number and exam room to avoid confusion when needing to declare.
You should also bring 5-7 pens of the same type, same ink color, and the type of pen you are most familiar with - smooth, even, clear ink lines - in case the pen malfunctions and you can replace it promptly.
Candidates should not use different types of pens to avoid creating unusual marks on the test.
Additionally, a regular wristwatch with a clear dial is essential for keeping track of time, as candidates are not allowed to bring phones or smartwatches into the exam room.
When doing the test, you need to remember to write your full name on the same line, choose the longest blank line on the test paper to write your full name, middle name and first name, to help the examiner easily search the list and limit errors when entering scores.
Before submitting the test, candidates must count the number of test papers and check that no paper is left on the table. When submitting the test to the invigilator, candidates must sign to confirm that they have submitted the test before leaving the test room.
Ms. Yen Phi especially noted the "5 no's" that candidates absolutely must not violate:
Do not be late, because according to the regulations, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late after the test start time, you will not be allowed to take the test.
Do not wear smart watches or headphones with signal transmitting and receiving functions.
Do not bring mobile phones or valuables, as they must be stored in a shared storage area - which is not completely secure.
Do not carry labeled water bottles.
Do not bring correction pens or erasers into the exam room.

Parents should also note
On exam days, students may take the exam at a new school and may not have their phones with them, so parents should agree in advance with their children on a specific pick-up point after the exam. This will help parents avoid having to fight through crowds to find their children, reducing congestion at the school gate.
Parents are encouraged to park their vehicles in a suitable location so that they can walk to pick up their children and then quickly leave the exam area. However, the pick-up point should not be too far or too isolated to ensure the safety of the students.
This morning, students will take the literature exam, and in the afternoon, the foreign language exam. The math exam will take place tomorrow morning, June 3. On June 4, candidates will take the specialized subject exam.

Da Nang temporarily stops trucks serving 10th grade exams
To facilitate nearly 12,000 candidates, the People's Committee of Da Nang City has a plan to regulate traffic during the exam period.
Specifically, on June 1, 2 and 3, the following vehicles will be temporarily suspended: trucks pulling trailers and semi-trailers; dump trucks; and trucks carrying wood chips with a permitted load capacity of over 10 tons.
The routes allowed for traffic include: Hai Van - Tuy Loan tunnel, La Son - Tuy Loan, Hai Van pass road, Ta Quang Buu, Nguyen Van Cu (section from Ta Quang Buu to Hai Van pass road), National Highway 14B (section from Hoa Cam overpass to the border of Quang Nam province), Hoa Cam overpass (both roads connecting both sides of the bridge), National Highway 1 (section from Hoa Cam overpass to the border of Quang Nam province) and Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway.
This restriction is to ensure traffic safety and reduce congestion at exam sites in the inner city.
