Hai Phong Food Festival 2025 is coming soon

(PLVN) - Towards the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day and to welcome the Red Flamboyant Festival in 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong City will organize the Hai Phong Delicious Food Festival 2025 with many rich activities, imbued with the culinary culture of the coastal land.

Specifically, the Festival will take place for 3 days, from May 10 to May 12, 2025, at two central locations: Hai Phong Station and Nguyen Du Flower Garden (Nha Ken). The event is an opportunity to promote the unique culinary beauty, imbued with the flavor of the sea of ​​Hai Phong to a large number of people, domestic and foreign tourists; at the same time, connect and develop tourism products such as Hai Phong Foodtour and Hoa Phuong Do Train - a special railway tourism route of the city.

This food festival will have a total of 25 booths arranged at two main locations. Of which, at Hai Phong Station, there will be 05 booths specializing in providing take-away dishes, tourist information, souvenirs and handmade products. Nguyen Du Flower Garden area will have 20 booths, including 09 booths introducing special street foods of Hai Phong food tour route and 11 booths displaying and introducing local specialties, OCOP products of districts.

In addition to the food court, the organizers also designed unique miniatures and check-in points for visitors to visit and take souvenir photos.

At the event, visitors will be able to directly enjoy and experience the preparation of typical dishes associated with Hai Phong culinary culture such as spicy bread, spicy fish noodles, crab noodles, sui din, banh xi long cau, coconut coffee... The ingredients used are mainly fresh seafood from the coastal areas of Do Son, Cat Hai, Bach Long Vi - the birthplace of a rustic yet innovative cuisine, imbued with the personality of the coastal region.

In addition, activities such as street art performances, gift-giving games, and vouchers to explore Hai Phong cuisine will also contribute to creating a vibrant, attractive atmosphere, connecting the community and stimulating tourism.

Through the Festival, Hai Phong City hopes to widely introduce unique culinary cultural values, contributing to building the Hai Phong tourism brand not only as an industrial port city but also as the most attractive culinary and cultural experience destination in the North.

The event promises to be a highlight in the series of cultural and tourism activities in 2025 of Hai Phong, creating a strong impression in the hearts of visitors about a youthful, vibrant, rich in identity and friendly city.
