Mr. Doan Duy Khanh (Hoa Cuong Bac ward, Hai Chau district) said that the festival takes place right on the occasion of students' summer vacation, so it is very convenient for the whole family to watch the fireworks. "The unique and vibrant combination of top-notch fireworks with romantic and vibrant music melodies makes viewers feel like they are lost in a magical space with a colorful and interesting world. Many teams have impressive performances with unique techniques and effects combining fireworks and water. DIFF 2025 with the theme "Da Nang - New Era", I hope to enjoy multi-layered experiences that are attractive, new and full of emotions", Mr. Khanh confided.
At this time, many tourists are in Da Nang to watch the fireworks. Ms. Tran Truc Phuong (from Ho Chi Minh City) said that in recent years, her family often chooses the right time for fireworks to travel to Da Nang. According to Ms. Phuong, coming to Da Nang at this time, you can not only watch the fireworks but also immerse yourself in the vibrant, bustling atmosphere because there are many accompanying cultural and entertainment events. Meanwhile, Mr. Jongrak Choi (from Seoul, South Korea) said that he first traveled to Vietnam in 2018 and since then he has been traveling between South Korea and Vietnam regularly. “This summer I traveled to Da Nang and was very lucky to see the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival. We were very happy and excited to know that this year there was a team participating in the fireworks competition from Korea. We expect the team to bring to the Da Nang audience parties of light combined with special Kpop hits. With the theme “Cultural Essence”, we hope this year’s competition will showcase many attractive performances and bring many unexpected and anticipated elements,” said Jongrak Choi.

According to records, many audiences come to DIFF not only because of the attractive fireworks display but also because it evokes artistic emotions. Photographer Vo Van Phi Long (Hoi An city, Quang Nam ) said that this is the 5th time he has participated in DIFF. “I still have the same feelings as when I was working on the first fireworks festival with a film camera. Although I have been through many fireworks seasons, each time I press the shutter, I have a different feeling of excitement when waiting for the colorful light streaks from the competing teams. For me, the most interesting thing about working on the fireworks festival is capturing beautiful moments when the colorful light streaks blend together, creating interesting shapes,” said Long.
Meanwhile, Ms. Le Thi Doan (Gia Lai province) shared that last summer, she took her family to Da Nang, because she could not buy tickets, she just joined the crowd along both sides of the Han River to watch. In these positions, she could only see high-altitude fireworks, but that was an unforgettable feeling. “I asked the people around me who were locals but I go to watch every year. I think it is not just fireworks, it is also the festival atmosphere. Sometimes I just need that, need a joyful atmosphere, like seeing strangers but sharing the same joy, the burst of emotions when standing under the brilliant sky of fireworks. This year, I returned to Da Nang just to join that crowd,” Ms. Doan expressed.
