After the CTPNo2 show that caused a stir last year, Chung Thanh Phong continued his success with the I Dreamed A Dream show at the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort - Vietnam's leading five-star beach resort. For the first time, the designer introduced to fashionistas 80 limited edition wedding dresses from the Haute Couture line - a luxury fashion line that fashionistas crave - on August 26.
The collection is inspired by a girl's dream of fairytale dresses coming true on her wedding day. 80 limited Haute Couture designs follow the most popular wedding dress trends in the world today such as princess dresses, mermaid dresses, corset dresses inspired by the Victorian era.
The costumes demonstrate the latest and most sophisticated techniques of the Chung Thanh Phong Bridal team, with each high-end dress taking hundreds of hours to complete. The designer spent 6 months to conceptualize and complete the collection. To enhance the luxury and uniqueness, Chung Thanh Phong collaborated with jewelry maker ThreeTrees, marking the first time a collection of expensive diamonds was dedicated to wedding dresses.
The event is expected to gather 120 VIP guests, including many top stars such as Miss H'hen Nie, Miss Tieu Vy, Miss Ngoc Chau, Miss Luong Thuy Linh, Nha Phuong, Jun Vu, Bao Anh, Amee... along with wedding organizers, prestigious domestic and international fashion experts.
According to Chung Thanh Phong, I Dreamed A Dream is the fashion show he has invested the most in terms of design and organization to date. In order to bring thoughtful, high-class experiences to guests during three days and two nights at InterContinental Danang, the event also prepared skin care products from Korean cosmetics KyungLab and Mira alkaline ionized water exclusively for each person.
