Six young faces representing Vietnam to attend the MOSWC 2025 world finals in the United States

Within the framework of the National Closing and Award Ceremony of the 2025 MOSWC, which took place on the morning of July 8 in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the IIG Vietnam Education Organization announced the list of champions who will represent Vietnam to compete in the MOSWC 2025 finals.

The six national champions this year include: Do Hai Long, Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology (Hanoi), First Prize in MOS Word 365 Apps; Luong Son Tung, Foreign Trade University (Hanoi), First Prize in MOS Excel 365 Apps; Nguyen Thai Son, Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted ( Nam Dinh ), First Prize in MOS PowerPoint 365 Apps; Vuong Thu Huong, Vietnam Maritime University (Hai Phong), First Prize in MOS Word 2019; Nghiem Thi My Linh, Vietnam Maritime University (Hai Phong), First Prize in MOS Excel 2019; Nguyen Minh Duc, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, First Prize in MOS PowerPoint 2019.

These will be the Vietnamese representatives participating in the MOS World Championship 2025 Finals, taking place from July 27 to 30, 2025 in Orlando (Florida, USA). Here, the Vietnamese MOS team will compete with the best candidates from nearly 100 countries and territories and have the opportunity to win prizes from 2,000 to 8,000 USD.

At the National Closing and Award Ceremony of the 2025 World Office Software Championship (MOSWC), the Organizing Committee also awarded 18 Second prizes, 30 Third prizes, 72 Encouragement prizes and 6 Promising prizes, along with many prizes in other categories to a number of outstanding individuals and groups.

This year, MOSWC Vietnam recorded nearly 2,000 outstanding contestants, selected from 230 teams from universities, colleges, secondary schools, and high schools nationwide to compete. Many schools sent representatives to participate for the first time and immediately achieved high results.

Director of the Center for Science , Technology and Young Talent Development (Cytast - under the Central Youth Union, the standing unit of the competition) Tran Huu informed about the results of this year's competition.

The results of the national qualifying round showed a breakthrough in the quality of candidates this season, with nearly 90% of candidates scoring 700 points or more. This is the standard score for the international MOS Computer Science exam, which is widely applied in more than 150 countries and territories around the world, and is determined by Certiport Computer Science Testing Organization (USA) to be eligible for MOS certification with global value.

In addition, it is known that the number of candidates achieving a perfect score of 1,000 also increased sharply with 178 cases, including junior high school candidates.
