Kim Hai acts out body drama and raps
Farewell in June is one of the world stage masterpieces by Russian author Aleksandr Vampilov, staged by young director Hoang Tran Thi Dinh.
Hai plays a middle-aged man who was arrested by the police for committing a crime and forced to do public service. There he meets and falls in love with a young man who also committed a crime and has to work at a cemetery like him.
Hai's character is not important in the play but is quite funny, a butcher but seems romantic as he loves to admire and steal flowers.
In the play, like other actors, Kim Hai not only acts but also uses many physical acting skills. He has his own rap part with the main male character.
With Cuoc chia tay thang 6 , this is not the first time Kim Hai has acted in a play. Before that, he had also had a few plays, most of his characters were character roles. Hai's middle-aged man in Cuoc chia tay thang 6 is also a strange color, creating a highlight in the play.

Audience Probe with Experimental Plays
June Farewell is the graduation play of Hoang Tran Thi Dinh in directing at the University of Theatre and Cinema, Ho Chi Minh City last October.
Choosing to do an experimental play for graduation was also a bold decision for Dinh because the safety was not high. However, because of his passion for this genre of play and his desire to explore himself, combined with the encouragement of teacher Tran Ngoc Giau, Dinh decided to take the plunge.
After his graduation performance was praised by many people, Dinh boldly scheduled a performance on December 6 at the 5B Drama Theater to test the audience's reaction to this genre of drama that is considered to be selective in its audience.
"In the current general stage, there are many genres, I think there are still audiences who want to look for experimental plays. When I graduated, only my teachers and friends watched. Now I'm introducing it to the public to see how people receive it and then decide on the next direction" - Hoang Tran Thi Dinh confided.
June Farewell talks about the thoughts of young people when they are about to enter life. They are students about to graduate, they have to face the choices of love, career, self… in a society that they are still confused about.

Because the theme is young people, the entire crew is also young, some are still students. Initially, Dinh planned the scenery but in the end she decided to remove everything, leaving only a bare stage. That means Dinh wants to return to the simplest thing. And so, what attracts the audience is the director's handling of the plot and the actors' performance.
In this play, the most powerful element is physical drama. The actors not only perform drama, contemporary dance, rap, but also use physical forms to express the character's inner conflict, when the character talks to himself.
Dinh expressed her gratitude because her teacher, director Tran Ngoc Giau, suggested and introduced the young drama group to cooperate with the 5B Drama Theater. Here, she was enthusiastically supported by artist My Uyen, the theater director, from human resources to techniques with the hope that young people would consider 5B as their "home" to unleash their new creations and experiments.
