Recently, the Vietnamese National Assembly discussed and approved the project of merging provincial administrative units, with the plan to merge An Giang and Kien Giang provinces, named An Giang province, with the political and administrative center located in Kien Giang province. Artists Thuy Tien, Lien Binh Phat, Lam Hung, who are familiar to audiences with their hometown of Kien Giang, will now have a "new hometown" in An Giang.

Lien Binh Phat was born in 1990 and graduated from Ton Duc Thang University with a degree in Vietnamese Studies. Initially planning to become a tour guide, he switched to MC to overcome his communication weakness and then found his passion for acting.

The turning point came in 2018 when Lien Binh Phat took on the role of Dung Thien Loi in Song Lang . The role not only made him famous but also brought him 4 film awards, earning him the title of "muse" of Vietnamese cinema.

In 2019, Lien Binh Phat won the Asian Stars: Up Next Awards organized by the Macao Film Festival and Variety. Previously, he also received the Gemstone Award for Best Newcomer at the Tokyo International Film Festival.
