Sbooks launches new book and awards writing contest on 5th anniversary

On the occasion of its 5th anniversary (October 1, 2018 - October 1, 2023), Sbooks has launched two new publications "Special Short Stories 2023" and "Love Each Other Until the Next Day". These are also two special publishing projects marking Sbooks' 5-year journey in the publishing field.

"Short Stories 2023" is part of the annual selection project "Short Stories". This is the most refined selection, helping the Literature Library become more profound, while spreading the presence of unique Vietnamese writers.

"Short Stories 2023" brings together good works by famous authors such as Vo Thi Xuan Ha, Y Ban, Bich Ngan, Nguyen Ngoc Tu, Vu Thanh Lich, Tong Ngoc Han, Tram Huong and young writers who have gradually asserted their writing power in recent years such as Nguyen Thi Kim Hoa, Tran Thi Tu Ngoc, Lu Mai, Le Vi Thuy, Kieu Duy Khanh, Nguyen Luan...

Poet Nguyen Quang Thieu, Chairman of the Vietnam Writers Association, when reading the short story Memory Market by Writer Tran Thi Tu Ngoc - a short story selected in the 2023 Featured Short Stories, left a comment: "...A life filled with sadness and tearful beauty". And this comment can also be considered a general comment for the 2023 Featured Short Stories as it captures the spirit of most of the short stories in this work.

Talking about this collection of selected short stories, writer Tong Phuoc Bao said: "It is the unique combination of continuity and refinement that makes this collection of stories diverse in style, subject matter, and especially colorful literature due to the personality of each pen...".

In particular, at this event, Sbooks also awarded prizes to the winning works in the "Love each other until the next day" contest. This is a special publishing project that has been prepared for a whole year for its launch date of October 1, 2023, going through 3 rounds of selection to select 31 works out of hundreds of submitted works.

After 5 years of establishment, Sbooks of young founder Nguyen Anh Dung has brought to the market millions of copies of various book genres, from literature, children to self-development skills.
