Schneider Electric, the global leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, announced its 2023 Sustainability Impact results in its Q4-2023 financial report, continuing to maintain its leading position in the ESG rankings.
The Schneider Sustainability Impact (SSI) Score for 2023 was a resounding success, with the company achieving a score of 6.13/10, surpassing its year-end target of 6/10. Schneider Electric was also recognized as a leader in the 2023 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) rankings.
The group's performance is expected to remain strong throughout 2023 – a period that is set to be the hottest on record globally (according to the Copernicus Climate Change Service).
This highlights the importance of Schneider Electric’s collective action efforts to reduce greenhouse gases across its business operations and value chain, avoiding the most negative impacts of global warming and accelerating the transition to a more equitable and sustainable world .

Schneider Electric's electrification, digitalization and automation solutions continue to help customers achieve decarbonization progress, reducing carbon emissions by 112 million tons in 2023 alone.
The Group has also made great strides in its supply chain impact. Carbon emissions from 1,000 suppliers have been reduced by 27% compared to 2022 (a reduction of 10%). Notably, 21% of these strategic suppliers have met Schneider Electric’s safe working standards.
On Schneider Electric's side, with the efforts of all employees, the group has also achieved many outstanding achievements.
